The requirements under IDEA and Section 504 can often feel overwhelming, making it challenging for educators to deliver a free and appropriate public education and for parents to fully understand the services and supports their children are entitled to.
At SpED Solutions Uncomplicated, our goal is to simplify the compliance process for school districts and empower families by providing guidance and solutions that keep the unique needs of students with disabilities at the center. As a trusted special education consultants, we take complex special education laws and requirements and translate them into clear, practical strategies that work in classrooms, ensuring students receive the services they deserve.
As a special educational consultant, I bring over 20 years of leadership experience across both charter and traditional public-school systems. Throughout my career, I have focused on building effective and supportive compliance systems, designing meaningful professional development that strengthens staff capacity, and partnering with parents and IEP teams to develop quality, individualized education plans that support meaningful educational progress. I have also achieved a high-resolution rate in matters of legal dispute by creating collaborative environments where parents are active participants in their child’s IEP meetings, helping to strengthen trust, foster shared decision-making, and drive positive outcomes for students.
I’ve served as a district leader, principal, and executive administrator, leading initiatives that reduced overidentification, expanded access to services, and strengthened family engagement. At the heart of my work is a passion for empowering educators, school leaders, and families to create welcoming, inclusive environments where all students with disabilities feel valued and leave school ready for college, career, and life.
With over 20 years in special education leadership, we bring proven experience in navigating IDEA and Section 504 compliance.
We turn complex laws into clear, actionable strategies that schools and families can put into practice right away.
Every service we provide keeps the focus on what matters most—helping students with unique abilities succeed in school and beyond.
Our work, in the special education consulting space, is grounded in two core commitments: For districts, we translate complex compliance laws into clear, practical procedures that work in classrooms, ensuring that students with disabilities receive the services and support they deserve. For families, we empower parents with guidance and solutions that put students first. From guiding school leaders through IDEA and Section 504 obligations to empowering parents and teachers, our services are built to strengthen collaboration and put student success at the center.
Compliance is most effective when it appears in everyday decisions, not only in policies and files. Clear procedures, accurate records, timely action, and dependable follow-through help schools protect student access while giving staff confidence in their responsibilities.
Conflict is inevitable wherever people learn and grow together. The real measure of a school community is not whether disagreements occur, but whether students and staff can handle them with maturity, fairness, and respect.
School leadership demands more than experience. It requires sound judgment, emotional steadiness, and the ability to guide people through uncertainty without losing sight of students, staff, or long-term priorities.
Professional learning should be intentional, relevant, and connected to the work. It should help educators refine their practice, pursue meaningful goals, and see progress in their daily work.
Students make greater progress when their needs are recognized, their perspectives respected, and the adults around them know how to turn concerns into constructive action.
A compelling mission may launch a charter school, but disciplined operations are what allow it to endure. Strong schools depend on clear processes, accountable leadership, reliable communication, and systems that can support growth without creating unnecessary strain.
Our services are designed to simplify compliance procedures, empower educators, and ensure every student thrives.
